Brief description of who you are professionally with concise accomplishments:
I was fortunate to know that I wanted to get involved in the non-profit fundraising field during my time at Stonehill College. I started my career at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on the Special Events team and have worked my way to my current role as a major gift officer at the number one pediatric hospital in the world. Boston Children’s recently concluded its Dream Dare Deliver Campaign, which raised $1.5B+ for various priorities of the hospital included new capital projects, advances in patient care, and cutting-edge research. I’m extremely proud to have contributed to this campaign to improve children’s health. As I reflect on the past few years of my career, I’m also very proud of my role in allowing families to give back to the doctors, nurses, and institutions that have made a profound impact on their lives. Whether they are supporting research, naming a space, or giving to extraordinary needs for other families, I find that this is a wonderful part of the healing process for so many families, and I’m honored to be a part of it.
Why did you join TWToday and what are you hoping to achieve as a member of the organization?
I was introduced to Tomorrow’s Women Today several years ago while attending the annual “At The Table” event as a guest. I loved the opportunity to speak with exceptional women leaders from various industries, all in one room focused on empowering each other. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to connect with so many successful, inspiring, and dedicated women in the Boston area. I find the TWT membership events and connections most impactful as I grow and shape my career. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn from members outside of the non-profit field. This allows me to think more creatively about my approach to fundraising.
What is one of your most proud professional moments and what are you most looking forward to professionally in the next five years?
I recently worked with a family to establish a named space in one of our new clinical buildings. The space will allow patients and families free access to essential developmental and educational items that they might not be able to afford. My work with the donor family has been a wonderful process over the last few years for me both professionally and personally. I’ve had the opportunity to work with them to design and create this new space, allowing them to reach their goal of enabling equal access and inclusion for all patients and families. The experience also allowed me to work with hospital leadership, gaining vital exposure and skills. I hope in the next five years I’m able to help many other families achieve their goals, while also furthering the hospital’s mission. I look forward to gaining more experiences with hospital leadership teams and elevating my career as a leader in the office.
What do you do in your “free” time?
One of my favorite activities during the week is taking class at Barre3 in Brookline. I love the sense of community at the studio and how the classes focus on mindfulness as well as balance – it’s also a great workout! I spend as much time in West Harwich on the cape as possible, especially in the summer months, but the off season is nice and relaxing too.

Fun Fact: What Makes YOU, you?
As mentioned before, I love spending time on Cape Cod. Unfortunately I’m allergic to shellfish, so I have to miss out on a lot of delicious seafood dishes that my friends and family like to remind me about. (My go-to dish is chicken fingers and fries!)
