Brief description of who you are professionally with concise accomplishments:
I am Gabriela Raggi, a registered nurse within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over a decade. I have worked within the healthcare payer sector for a considerable amount of time while also caring for patients within different clinical nurse roles. My day-to-day role is focused on our team and audits to measure performance and quality of care provided by healthcare providers. I support health equity which is the state where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health through my current roles and as a volunteer. I volunteer for the Ellie Fund which provides services associated with transportation, meals, childcare reimbursement to women and men receiving active breast cancer treatment living in Massachusetts. I also have a passion for holistic nursing which encompasses mindfulness, aromatherapy, and many other modalities. I am the Vice Chair for the American Holistic Nurses Association Practice Committee. I am the Co-Chair for Women & Allies which is a Colleague Resource Group within Point32Health where we support our female and ally colleagues through health promotion and professional development.

Why did you join TWT and what are you hoping to achieve?
I have joined TWT because of an event I attended back in November where I met some of the members, Lauren Pimpare, Maya Grevatt, and others on the team. Everyone was welcoming and lovely. The group really appealed to me. I believe in the power of mentorship and networking as channels for professional development. TWT successfully offers both to its members in a genuine manner.

One of my most proud professional moments and what are you most looking forward to professionally the next five years:
My most recent proud professional moment was my recent interaction via email with State Senator John F. Keenan who has agreed to promote education on the importance of social determinants of health. As stated, I am passionate about health equity.

What do you do in my “free” time? I love to read books, attend Zumba classes, practice yoga, and meditate.

3 core values: Integrity, courage, and compassion.

Fun fact: I collect fragrances as a hobby and I have a social media account where I review them.
