Our Journey
Evolving Leadership Since 2009
In 2009, the idea for Tomorrow’s Women TODAY was sparked at an event for early leaders. The inspiration came not only from the success of the remarkable speakers but also from the potential of a network for rising stars—emerging leaders filled with drive, ambition, and an undeniable fire in their bellies. This vision grew into a community that would evolve alongside its members. It wasn't just about a one-time event but rather a continuous journey—offering ongoing opportunities for leaders at every stage to connect with a cross-sector peer network, inspirational women mentors, and programs designed to support both professional and personal growth. Tomorrow's Women TODAY became a space where work and life intersect, with a core focus on advancement.
So many events feel impersonal, where attendees are just another face in a crowd of 250, and the only people eager to chat are either networking too aggressively or simply looking for a job. Or the event is what one might call a "martinis and manicure" gathering—fun, but more like a girls' night out, not something that genuinely advances professional ambitions. With this in mind, Founder Lauren Pimpare set out to change the landscape of what was historically defined as a “professional women's network.”
Tomorrow’s Women TODAY has cultivated meaningful relationships with established leaders and, just as importantly, among its members as they have grown into leaders themselves. Since its inception in 2009, this powerful network has positively impacted the lives of over 20,000 women. Together, members have navigated the complexities of their professional lives, offering each other unwavering support through promotions, salary negotiations, career pivots, and the rich tapestry of personal experiences. This community understands what it means to be a woman, a professional, and to define success in ways that are unique to each individual.
Through its innovative programming and supportive community, Tomorrow’s Women TODAY is reshaping the way its members lead into the future. With chapters in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, it stands proudly as the only network that evolves alongside its members throughout their professional journeys. From the Early Leaders Tier to the Emerging Leaders Tier and up to the Executive Leaders Tier, Tomorrow's Women TODAY has created a continuum of women leaders who embody a deep sense of community, connection, and a commitment to leveraging their influence for positive social change—all while advancing together.

This expansion has created new opportunities for connection and empowerment. Between both communities, the organization organizes over 40 events annually, fostering strong bonds that make the community vibrant and supportive.
