Brief description of who you are professionally with concise accomplishments: I am a cybersecurity professional focused on cyber risk quantification and risk reporting. I also serve as a learning facilitator for two MIT xPRO online courses spanning cybersecurity and AI. Prior to Capital One, I worked in cybersecurity policy and within the intelligence community. I hold a M.S. in Technology and Policy with a concentration in cybersecurity from MIT and a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University.
Why did you join TWToday and what are you hoping to achieve? I joined TWToday for its community. As a transplant to Boston, it’s been a great way to build a home away from home. I hope to contribute to and carry forward the collaborative, inspiring energy that TWToday creates!
One of your most proud professional moments and what are you most looking forward to professionally the next five years: One of my proudest professional moments will likely be presenting my 2024 master’s research at a conference at the Federal Reserve next week! Over the next five years, I’m looking forward to deepening my work in risk quantification and predictive modeling and bringing those capabilities more directly into my current role.
What do you do in your “free” time? I am enjoying the chances to learn about AI and am currently exploring how to integrate agentic capabilities into my personal workflow (please reach out if you’re exploring this too!). I also teach yoga and love practicing yoga and pilates. I love traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends, family and my dog, Beau. I’m also passionate about giving back locally and have volunteered with the Greater Boston Food Bank, East End House and More Than Words.
